[ICS-IN CAR SERVICES] Repairs regulations

Effective Date: 01.08.2023

  1. Service Inquiry:
    • Provide accurate information about the car make and model, and faulty equipment.
    • Describe the issue or problem as clearly as possible.
  2. Estimates and Quotes:
    • Cost of repair is usually fixed, and customer aware of costs – before sending for a repair
    • The final cost may vary if additional issues are discovered during the repair process. Customers will be informed of any changes to costs.
  3. Approval for Repairs:
    • Customers provides approval for a device repair and associated costs- by sending device to us for repair.
    • Any changes to the repair scope will require further authorization.
  4. No-Fix, No-Fee Policy:
    • If we are unable to fix the item, customers will not be charged for the repair service, only needs to cover return postage costs
  5. Warranty:
    • ICS-IN CAR SERVICES will provide a warranty for the repaired item. The warranty period and coverage details will be communicated to the customer.
  6. Payment and Billing:
    • Customers are responsible for paying the agreed-upon amount for the repair service.
    • Payment is typically due upon completion of the repair.
  7. Abandoned Items:
    • Items left unclaimed for a 3 months period will be considered abandoned and may be subject to disposal or other actions as per local laws.
  8. Customer Communication:
    • We will keep customers informed about the progress of the repair if there are delays or any other issues.
  9. Data Backup:
    • It is the customer’s responsibility to back up any data on the device before bringing it in for repair.
  10. Liability for Data Loss:
    • We will not be held responsible for any data loss that may occur during the repair process. Customers should ensure data backup before the repair.
  11. Prohibited Items:
    • ICS-IN CAR SERVICES may refuse to service items that are illegal, dangerous, or violate any laws or regulations.
  12. Customer Conduct:
    • Customers are expected to treat repair shop staff with respect and follow any instructions provided by the staff.
  13. Satisfaction and Complaints:
    • Customers with complaints or concerns about the repair service should contact the repair shop’s customer support.
  14. Lost or Damaged Items:
    • ICS-IN CAR SERVICES will take reasonable care of customer items but will not be held responsible for lost or further damaged items during the repair process.
  15. Termination of Service:
    • ICS-IN CAR SERVICES reserves the right to refuse service to anyone engaging in abusive, threatening, or unlawful behavior.
